It can be a bit overwhelming to send your child off to school for the first time. It’s a whole new dimension that often takes parents by surprise… not to forget the added task of packing lunches! It’s also an emotional time as big school seemed so far away when they were born.
Let’s face it. Making school lunches is not exciting. It’s boring and a pain in the butt for time poor parents. There’s nothing worse than wanting to sit down and put your feet up (haha I know right?!) and then you turn and you see them, a stack of lunch boxes…empty lunch boxes all saying...
Is this a new thing? Am I living under a rock? What does all of this mean and why did I get a note home from school saying ‘we’re going package free and having nude lunches’? What the?! Back up a sec, double check the note…yes the school logo is on it, signed by the principal…check the date…yep not the 70’s, no mention of Woodstock…what in the world is going on and why are my kids going nude?!!!!
